Abstract:
     The ruler of this invention is constituted by a scale of heart rate, a second scale and a centimeter scale. Its main application is for measurement of heart rate on electrocardiogram in medical treatment. Its characteristics are: easy and fast measurement, (measurement efficiency being increased by 5-25 fold as compared with hand calculation), practical application and precise results. It is applicable to both man and animals whether the heart rate is regular, fast or slow, whether the electrocardiogram is reduced or enlarged. It may also be applicable to measurement of period of various wave ranges on electrocardiogram, and may also be used as conventional ruler. It improves significantly the performance of existing ruler for measurement of heart rate.
