Abstract:
     The invented centering monitor is a single-rod measurer designed based on stress and strain principles. The strain transducers arranged on the measuring rod which is connected to both rotary machines are used to obtain the deformation signal of measuring rod under the condition of non-centering and the said deformation signal is displayed via microcomputer. Thus, the parallel or angle shifting between axles of both machine may be obtained. Its advantages are low cost and high precision.
