Abstract:
    The present invention relates to apparatus for making aluminum clad steel wire, and is especially one novel steel wire clad device with symmetric through hole. The cladding cavity has one through hole, one blank leader mounted inside the through hole, and one leading mold and one cladding mold separately on two sides of the blank leader. Adopting the blank leader can ensure the concentricity between the clad steel wire and the cladding aluminum layer, and the symmetric hole structure allows increased interval between the leading mold and the cladding mold to ensure tight cladding of the aluminum layer onto the steel wire. In addition, the present invention facilitates the machine of the mold.
