Abstract:
    The present invention discloses one kind of high strength aluminum alloy welding wire and its preparation process. The high strength aluminum alloy welding wire has the material composition comprising Cu 1.5-2.5 wt%, Ti 0.1-0.3 wt%, B 0.01-0.05 wt%, Si 4-6 wt% and Al for the rest. The preparation process includes the following steps: preparing material includes aluminum ingot, copper ingot, sponge titanium, boric acid and crystallized silicon; preparing intermediate alloys AlCu50, AlTi10, AlB1 and AlSi30; smelting aluminum alloy with aluminum ingot and intermediate alloys; casting aluminum alloy ingot; sawing aluminum alloy ingot into sections; extruding in a extruder at 330-380 deg.c; drawing wire in a wire drawing machine and annealing during drawing to obtain the high strength aluminum alloy welding wire.
