Abstract:
    The production process of brake steel splint for reducer in railway vehicle includes the following steps: cutting the billet into required length and heating in a heating furnace; rolling in required pass, temperature, roll gap and radial runout; cutting with hot saw, cooling and straightening to required size allowance; examining size error; mechanical test for yield strength not lower than 380 MPa and tensile strength not lower than 645 MPa; and packing. The present invention has the advantages of precisely controlled rolling, high product precision and very high production efficiency.
