    The present invention is turbulent water cooling process and apparatus for rod product, and belongs to the field of hot rolled rod producing technology. The present invention is for the fast cooling of cut hot rolled steel rod, and the hot rolled steel rod after being cut is cooled rapidly with high pressure turbulent water flow inside one turbulent water cooling pipe. The turbulent water cooling apparatus includes one turbulent water cooling pipe and one high pressure water incoming pipe below the turbulent water cooling pipe. The present invention has high cooling efficiency, simple technological process, low power consumption and capacity of raising the mechanical performance of the rod product.
