Abstract:
    The present invention relates to method of recovering and treating gallic acid sludge. The sludge is twice water washed at 90-100 deg.c and twice squeezed to extract its gallic acid, and the first water washing may use the washed liquid recovered from the second water washing while the second washing uses clear water. The washed liquid from the first washing is decompression concentrated and crystallized at 10-15 deg.c to recover gallic acid through centrifuging. The mother liquid is further treated before draining or being used as washing water in the first washing. The sludge is mixed into mud for brick to be baked into brick, and this can use the heat energy from sludge, reduce weight of brick and eliminate environmental pollution. The present invention has gallic acid sludge utilized fully.
