    The process of preparing short glass fiber with waste tank furnace filament includes the following steps: initial treatment of waste tank furnace filament; compounding adhesive via diluting adhesive with water for spraying; spraying adhesive to waste tank furnace filament or soaking waste tank furnace filament in adhesive and stilling for well absorbing adhesive; forming short glass fiber through cutting, sieving and roasting. The present invention produces useful material with waste and has low production cost.
