Abstract:
     A technique for planting swertia features that the seeds of swertia are physically and chemically treated for high germination rate up to more than 75%, and the ground is covered by plastic film for 7-28 days before said seeds are sowed for suppressing the growth of weeds. As a result, the swertia can be cultivated in the highland with 1500-4500 m above sea level.
