Abstract:
    The antifouling stainless steel member of the invention is characterized in that a water-repellent film is coated on the surface of a stainless steel substrate subjected to emboss processing. The water-repellent film is formed by coating of a fluorine-based treating agent or a fluorine-based film containing fluorine, and the angle of contact with water of the film is preferably 90 DEG. or larger. Thereby, an antifouling stainless steel member improved in flaw resistance and also keeping the antifouling property against water stain or the like over a long period of time is provided.
