    A high-brightness water-proof photo paper for ink jet printer is composed of an RC photo paper substrate consisting of a raw photo paper and two surficial polyethene film layers, an ink sucking layer, a medium layer between said ink sucking layer and RC photo paper substrate, and a high-brightness color reducing layer on said ink sucking layer and prepared from silicon sol, PVC, color fixating agent, whitening agent and deionized water.
