Abstract:
    To solve the problems in conventional slitters that a cutting blade vibrates during the operation of the slitter, cutting width is difficult to change largely and a cloth is difficult to cut off cloth diagonally. The invention provides a slitter of a glueing machine cuts off the cloth by means of a lower blade 25 mounted on a rolled web side of the cloth placed on the glueing machine body and operated in interlock with the operation of the glueing machine and an upper blade 29 brought into pressure contact with the lower blade 25. The slitter comprises right and left lower blade driving shafts 12 which are separately supported by bearings at end portions of the right and left frames of the slitter and are interlocked with the operation of the glueing machine, lower blade driving plates 21 which are fitted on the lower blade driving shafts 12 and drive the lower blade interlocking with the operation of the lower blade driving shafts 12, and spring means 31 for bringing the upper blade 29 into pressure contact with the lower blade 25.
