    A releasable attachment device to attach a dust-collecting receptacle to a vacuum cleaner cyclone body comprises a seal having a central through hole defining a fluid communication path, a lever surrounding the seal, and a guide member, to guide displacement of the lever. The lever being displaceable upwardly or downwardly depending on the direction of movement of the guide member.
