Abstract:
     A separator, comprising a disc stack of a number of superimposed, preferably conical discs (1), with drillings (2, 8, 9), cooperating to form a channel (3, 6, 7) in the disc stack, is characterised in that the diameter of the at least one channel (3, 6, 7), or the position thereof within the disc stack, alters in a flow-optimizing manner and the distribution channels, embodied as drillings, are aligned at an angle to the radii through the drum axis.
