Abstract:
     The invention discloses a method for treating the quartz beach sand which is polluted by spilled oil. The invention utilizes the seawater as separation medium, adds a certain amount of surface activator or a mixture of surface activator and separation agent, to effectively separate the polluted beach sand via mixing seawater, medicament and polluted sand in the environmental temperature, while the separation efficiency is more than 99%. The invention can apply the treatment on the quartz beach sand which is polluted by product oil and variable crude oil (including hyper-coagulate, high viscosity crude oil, and the separation between the polluted dry sand above the flood line and the beach wet sand. The invention uses seawater a separation medium to reduce the treatment cost markedly, while it can be processed in environmental temperature, without heating to effectively reduce the power consumption; it has lower medicament cost which is friendly to environment without secondary pollution; and it has high separation efficiency and lower demand for device and operation.
