Abstract:
     The magnetic separation method and apparatus features that several permanent magnet blocks are contacted one by one to form one circle with the permanent magnet blocks in one semi-circle possessing clockwise magnetic force direction while those in the other semi-circle possessing counterclockwise magnetic force direction, and that one pipe of non-magnetically permeable material with inside soft magnetic material is set inside the permanent magnet circle. Ore powder to be iron eliminated is made to pass through the pipe, and under the magnetic force, iron material in the ore powder will be separated via attaching to the soft magnetic material. When the pipe is filled with the iron material, the pipe may be taken out to eliminate iron material for reuse. Compared with available technology, the present invention has the advantages of low cost, low power consumption, high magnetic field strength, easy maintenance, high iron eliminating efficiency, etc.
