Abstract:
     A production process for extracting compact corundum by using waste casting materials form blast furnace main trough, comprises the steps of: (1) sorting raw materials; (2) removing iron drags on the surface; (3) crushing; (4) processing particles; (5) magnetic separation; (6) screening; (7) achievement of compact corundum products. The iron dregs can be removed completely without acid pickling drainage liquid. The compact corundum processed by above method can be used as new compact corundum raw materials in the production of main trough casting materials, and can be used in the refractory products, metallurgy adjuvants, and ceramics.
