Abstract:
     The process of reducing hematite or limonite without magnetic phase directly into iron powder without roasting has low power consumption and no pollution. The direct reducing process includes the following steps: crushing iron ore; water washing in a spiral separator to eliminate mud; mixing with proper amount of low sulfur coke powder, lime, Q-type catalyst and dolomite to form mixture material; crushing, adding water through stirring and making adobe with pore in an adobe making machine; filling the adobe inside earth jar and sealing with anthracite; roasting in tunnel kiln; grinding the roasted adobe in a ball mill and separating iron powder in magnetic separator.
