Abstract:
     The present invention is method of separating dietary fiber from side product of grain processing. The separation process includes the following steps: superfine crushing rice bran, corn coat, wheat bran or bean residue to obtain material of 50 micron below fineness; and air grading the material in an air separating machine to obtain dietary fiber as main product and protein containing fine powder. The separation process is mechanical, and the protein grain, cellulose, semi-cellulose and pectin in the mixture have different specific weight and are separated in the high speed rotation process to obtain dietary fiber product with high cellulose content and fine powder with high protein content. The separation process has no chemical material residue and is simple and practical.
