Abstract:
     This invention relates to a kind of new application of magnetic material, i.e. lining for grinding mill. The invention is characterized by a number of permanent magnets mounted in frame of metallic magnetic lining plates in a grinding mill, so that the magnetic lines on surface of lining plates attract the magnetic medium and ore powder to form an automatically changeable protecting layer. By means of this lining, the grinding efficiency of grinding mill can be increased by 10-20%, power consumption is reduced by about 10%, balls per unit production are economized by 10%, life of lining plates can be prolonged by 3-5 fold as compared with that of steel or rubber lining plates, while the cost is reduced by 15-20%.
