     The invention discloses a seed coating agent for prevention and cure of maize head smut, wherein the method for using comprises coating the maize seeds before sowing, the agent-seed ratio being 1:50, the coating agent comprises 2.2% by weight ratio of diniconazole, 12.8% of thiram, 2125ppm-212.5ppm of gibberellin, and the rest for film-forming agent and water.
