Abstract:
     The kaolinite medium is prepared by using kaolinite and pyrophyllite as raw materials and through the process of mineral inspection; crushing and grading into three grades; coarse, medium and fine; compounding through weighing material of different grades, adding adhesive, and mixing; pressing the mixture in die set; and stoving and roasting the pressed powder blocks in roaster with the temperature being controlled according to the requirement of 100 deg.C for the first 2 hr, 200 deg.C for the second 2 hr, and 500-700 deg.C for the third 2 hr. The said processes is simple and practical, the kaolinite medium has good sealed pressure-transmitting and electric and heat insulating properties, and the pressed powder block is stable and may be stored for long period without mildew and deterioration.
