Abstract:
     The present invention relates to a catalyst for toluene disproportionation process and transalkylation reaction and its preparation process. It is characterized by that the mole ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 of beta-zeolite formed into said catalyst is 10-55, Na2O content is less than or equal to 0.10 (wt%), its specific surface area is 500-700 sq.m/g, and its pore valume is 0.30-0.40 ml/g. The catalyst made up by using said beta-zeolite or loading metal ion or oxide on the beta-zeolite features high mole ratio value of xylene/benzene being in its product when it is used for toluene disproportionation and transalkylation reaction of C9 arene, and the mole ratio of xylene/benzene is higher than that of pure H beta-zeolite catalyst, it can be used in industrial production.
