Abstract:
     This invention is a method for production of precipitated white carbon black. It uses sulphuric acid alkylated fresh acid dregs and sodium silicate as raw materials, and includes the following steps: dilute sulphuric acid is separated out by hydrolysis of acid dregs, neutralizing reaction consists of four steps of first neutralization, second neutralization, ageing and third neutralization, and after neutralizing reaction, alkaline ageing, alkaline washing, acidilation, acidic ageing, washing and filtering, oven drying and pulverishing are conducted to obtain precipitated white carbon black and by-products of mirabilite and polymerized oil. White carbon black thus produced is clear and white, has good temp.-resistance, without colour change at temp. greater than 200 deg.C, specific surface area of 209 m2/g, purity of 96% and refractive index of 1.47. Said process is operated under normal temp.
