Abstract:
     A rotating anode x-ray tube apparatus wherein an x-ray is generated by bombarding the anode with electrons while rotating an anode target (11) is characterized in that a stator (22) for generating a magnetic field and the anode target are supported by hydrodynamic sliding bearings using liquid metal and at least the insides of the hydrodynamic sliding bearings and an envelope (10) housing the anode target are cooled by circulating one kind of cooling medium (7).
