| The present invention is detection apparatus and method with adaptive regulation of X-ray source. The apparatus includes X-ray shielding room comprising lower computer, X-ray source, optical lens, CCD video camera and control circuit; and control room with upper computer. The method includes the following steps: for the upper computer to determine the distance between the X-ray source and the workpiece and the current and voltage of the X-ray source according to the area and thickness of the workpiece; to adopt serial asynchronous communication mode between the upper computer and the lower computer; for the lower computer to regulate the position of the workpiece and the X-ray source and the strength of the X-ray source; to detect fault in the workpiece; and for the upper computer to receive, store and print detection result. The present invention has adaptive regulation to realize remote control, and is safe, accurate, reliable and high in detection efficiency. | |||
