Abstract:
     A method for making filter tip of cigarette, whose diameter is 6.8 mm, is an improvement on the existing method for making the filter tip whose diameter is 7.8 mm in such areas as thinning tobacco cavity, narrowing the openning of small cigarette end, using narrower tip paper and cloth band, reducing the internal diameter of filter tip to 7 mm and regulating loose degree or using low-denier tow. Its advantages are simple and feasible process, use of existing machine and high qualified rate.
