Abstract:
     The process of determining the permeability of cigarette filter tip paper can solve the problem of precisely controlling the dilution rate of filter tip and determine the permeability precisely. The process includes the following steps: A. sorting and making filter tip paper and filter tip; B. processing cigarette with the perforated filter tip paper and high permeability formed filter tip; C. measuring the total dilution rates and filter tip dilution rates of at least 50 cigarettes and calculating the average value and the variation coefficient; D. analyzing the measured data to establish the variation curve of cigarette ventilation dilution rate vs filer tip paper permeability and linear regression equation Y＝-7X2×10-5 0.1227X 2.11, where X is permeability of tip paper and Y is dilution rate of filter tip; and E. applying the established variation curve and linear regression equation in selection and design of the permeability of cigarette filter tip paper.
