Abstract:
    A method for automatically opening the packing bags of tobacco stem includes such steps as conveying the stacked gunny-bags to a position under bag clamping and lifting unit, loading the bags on another belt conveyer one by one, cutting open the front end of each bag by automatic cutter, automatically discharging part of tobacco stems from bag at the front end of conveying belt, hooking up the bag to discharge the rest of tobacco stems, clamping the empty bag and moving it onto the third belt conveyer, and collecting the empty bags. Its apparatus is also disclosed.
