Abstract:
     The invention discloses a method for batch counting the tobacco and its relative device. The method comprise: (1) pretreating the original picture; (2) operating based on the movable rectangular window and the morphological dividing method: first, filling the deformity points inside the tobacco, secondly, operating the corrosion treatment on the picture, and then, distinguishing the cigarette by subarea window matching and counting. Wherein, first, counting and eliminating the connected regions of single cigarette, secondly, moving a window (W) of D×D pixels serially in the left connected regions, while the D means the diameter of standard cigarette, then, when the number of black pixels in the window meets the amount needed by one cigarette and the number is most, operating the counting and eliminating. In addition, the device comprises a computer processing system, a digital camera, a tobacco-frame-fixing device, a gate-controlled switch and a signal-collecting card. Wherein, the digital camera is connected to the computer processing system via the I/O port and the gate-controlled switch is connected to the computer processing system via the signal-collecting card. The invention has the advantages of high speed, non-destruction and high efficient.
