Abstract:
    The present invention assures an accurate weight judgement result at all times irrespective of a change in temperature conditions and of a secular change in a weight sensor. The present heating cooker includes a weight sensor for outputting a signal in response to a weight of foods, etc., and a control circuit. The control circuit serves as weight decision means for judging the weight of any foods based upon a signal level outputted from the weight sensor and a reference zero point set at present, and further serves as zero point alteration means. The function of the zero point alteration means is to read a signal from the weight sensor every time before heating is started, and when the signal level is within a predetermined level range corresponding to a predetermined weight from the viewpoint of a reference zero point, alters and sets the reference zero point based upon the signal level.
