Abstract:
     The invention relates to the apparatus for removing foreign materials from tobacco to be processed comprising a feeding device 11 for feeding material stream 12 substantially comprising tobacco to the transporting direction of the tobacco, a device 13 for removing foreign materials from the material stream 12, at least a transporting elements 14 for accelerating the material stream 12 and an optical inspection element 18 provided with a device removing the foreign materials from the tobacco materials, wherein the device 13 for removing foreign materials is mounted close to the upward of the transporting elements 14 for accelerating the material stream 12.
