Abstract:
     The present invention belongs to tobacco processing technology and relates to the change of tobacco stem in colour. It utilizes the indicator which the chemical components in tobacco stem is sensitive to or edible pigment to change the colour of swelled tobacco stem. The indicator selected is methyl orange (C14H14N3NaO3S), the edible pigments are citron yellow and edible red, and proper amount of permeating agent and brightener are also added for increasing its permeability and brightness.
