Abstract:
     The essential of present invention is to add uniformly the extract of gynostemma pentaphylla into cut tobacco or tobacco leaves in routine cigarette prodution technology, the amount of addition is 0.1%-10% weight of cut tobacco or tobacco leaves. Present invention uses the extract of gynostemma pentaphylla as additive, and uses alcohol to dissolve the extract of gynostemma pentaphylla, making saponins of gynostemma pentaphylla volate sufficiently during smoking, thus reducing the total granular substance content and abating the toxic effect of tar in cigarette smoke.
