Abstract:
     This invention relates to a method for reclaiming the tobacco leaves which have dropped down to ground in cigarette industry. Such technological steps as water treatment, wet breaking, grinding it into pulp, mixing, additions of stabilizer (calcium hydroxide), adhesive (starch) and softener (plant oil), making sheets in a thermal shaper, and slitting are included to obtain reclaimed tobacco shreds which conform to the standard on the additives of cigarette. The pulp after breaking would not be hydrolyzed and in turn not vary in colour as wet breaking step is in use.
