Abstract:
     The present invention refers to the preparation of tobacco slices and related binder from natural plant. The said binder is prepared by soaking-agitating and /or heating 2-8 wt.% Amorphophallus rivieri powder, 3~6 wt.% maltose, 3~4 wt.% rare vigorous liquid, and 85~92 wt.% water. The resultant binder is then mixed thoroughly with powdered tobacco waste with ratio of 1:1 and roll-pressed into slices. The said tobacco slices have golden color and better fluffiness, as well as higher tenacity, elasticity, and pulling tension than natural tobacco leaf cut. Besides, the said binder is made of natural plant materials, thus it is harmless to human body.
