Abstract:
    The invention concerns an ultrasonic transducer (1) which is assembled from several parts. These parts are a protecting plate (4), a piezoelectric disC (11) and a housing (5). The protecting plate (4) and the housing (5) consists of electrically conducting materials of different kinds for facilitating manufacturing of said ultrasonic transducer (1) by joining of housing (5) and plate (4) using a mechanical force influence and an electrical current which flows through plate (4) and housing (5). Also, a method for joining the parts (4, 5, 11) of an ultrasonic transducer (1) is described.
