Abstract:
     An audio confernece system able to compensate the sensitivity of microphone is composed of a microphone array consisting of at least 3 microphones whose positions are known, a A/D converter, a processor, two digital signal gain controllers and a digital compensation software. Its method includes determining the time differences between the sounds received by several microphones calculating the position of sound source, and compensating the sensitivity of microphone according to the distance from it to sound source.
