Abstract:
     This material, containing cerium oxide 1.0-4.5% and wolfram powder and insulating cement, is manufactured by casting or pressing. The transducer, using this material instead of former wolfram-insulating cement, without changing the structure and manufacturing method of the original transducer, achieves good results: with the emissing and receiving general transducer manufactured with cast materials, both voltage tolerance and sound attenuation performance can be increased, thus easily realizing acoustic impedance matching by using the transducer with pressed materials, the acoustic noise produced by reflection of the back of transducers can be minimized.
