Abstract:
     This invention relates to an expansion aid and its expansion treatment process for rice husk or general bran, and selects the expansion aid made up from carbonates, cake dregs and water. Under a certain feeding and discharging temp., it can carry on a continuous expansion treatment of rice husk or general bran in the expander so that the treatment efficiency is high and the indices of expansion degree, coarse fibre, coarse starch and hydrocarbonate in total are greatly raised. This invention fully utilizes the existing resources of rice husk or general bran, changes wastes into treasures, and needs a little investment and has low cost and no toxic or harmful discharge in production. The expanded product can replace the grain for the feed and may be used as raw material for fermentation, chemical industry and edible fungus production.
