Abstract:
     This invention relates to automatic device for cutting garlic omphalos, which is composed of base frame, motor, main shaft, worktable, pinch cock, cutter, guide way, adjusting bolt. Worktable is positioned with adjust bolt; the rotation of cutter is drived by main shaft which is connected on motor via V-belt; cutter is made with metal sheet which is curved into circle-arc shape, the angle included between cutter and its frame is less right angles; garlic is carried by pinch cock toward cutter along the guide way to cut its omphalos off, the action is reciprocation continuously, compared with cutting by hand the effect of said automatic omphalos-cutting increases by 60 times, reduces loss by 50%, cutting down production cost 95%.
