Abstract:
     The invention is a multipurpose equipment for cutting spherical stem disk of garlic. The purpose is to solve problem of orientation difficulty for irregular shaped workpieses such as garlic spheres which are unresistable to cramping force during cutting. This method includes one cutting tool to cut a series of several workpieses with efficiency of about 200 times higher than that of manual cutting; by replacing positioning hole arrangment, it can be used for cutting different workpieces, consequently it is universal. The purpose of removing stem disk is that it cannot be eaten and contains soil, and by removing stem disk, skin and black stem of garlic kernel can be easily separated. The invention is also useful to cut top and bottom of fruits as onion, ananas, water chestnut, etc.
