Abstract:
     The machine comprises a bunker, two shell-splitling knifes, a shelling gripper, a pulp-picking pin, a pulp-picking comb, a pit-remoring scraper and a conveying belt. In the shelling position, the shell of a longan is split by the front splitting knife which is pointed and double-edged and by the frear splitting knife having a semicircular edge, and is removed from the rest part of the longan by the said gripper. Then, in the pit-sticking position, the shelled longan is sticked by the said pin and sent to the pulp-picking position where the pulp is picked from the pit by the said comb. The pit, still sticked on the pin, is removed from the pin by the said scraper. The machine is excellent in sanitation, diable and effective. Its productivity is 140 times more as compared with the manual pulp-picking.
