Abstract:
     The recorded magnetic track may be divided again by the spiral scanning frequency-recording system to provide high reliability of signal. According to the video mode (HTSC, PAL, SECAM), each frame video signal is divided into several signal sections, and then each signal section is divided into two to generate two channels with two sub-channels. Each channel contains the amount of information which is carried by a magnetic track. Each magnetic track is again divided into two magnetic sub-track which is able to record a sub-channel. The sub-channels of each signal section are recorded in the magnetic sub-track of four continuous magnetic tracks. It is preferable that two sub-channels are recorded in a magnetic sub-track of two continuous magnetic tracks, then the other two sub-channels are recorded in the other magnetic sub-track of other two magnetic tracks.
