Abstract:
     It comprises a A/D, which converts the playback video signal obtd. from demodulation into the first digital video signal; a memory which can at least store a field of the first digital video signal; a conversion circuit which selectively generates the first or second digital video signals; a primary circuit, which generates at least the first pulse signal having a width corresponding to the predetermined period and the second pulse signal which correctly defines the memory read-out timing; a secondary circuit, which generates control signals for controlling memory readout, and making the conversion circuit generate selectively the second digital video signal; a D/A, which converts the digital video signal output from the conversion circuit into the resultant video signal for playback.
