Abstract:
     In a syncho circuit of the reference carrier oscillator in a PAL colour TV receiver, the oscillator is synchronized by colour carrier signals from PAL matrix-decoking circuit. According to thid invemtion,the signs of the signals are determined by discriminating the amplitudes or polarities of the demodulated colour carrier signals and other conditions. Either the signals or the inverted signals are fed to the phase comparison stage in a phase-locked loop circuit.
