Abstract:
    The invention provides a image scanning equipment which performs scanning using image scanning block placed above the scanning medium in medium area on plane and improves greatly the operability of the equipment. The image scanning block is supported by a supporting arm in the mode, namely, the image scanning block is not placed above the medium area center, but placed just above near the outer edge of medium area on the plane.
