Abstract:
    To prevent a transparent board from breaking and to form an image of a reflected light from an original onto a light reception element steadily. Rollers 20 that determine the position of an original 11 in contact with the original 11 are placed so that a transparent board 18 is opposite to the original 11 at an interval. Furthermore, the transparent board 18 is engaged with engagement sections 13a, 13b, all of which will be fitted into a frame 13. A rod lens array 19 is pressed onto a lens positioning face 13c with the transparent board 18 in order to position and fix the rod lens array 19 onto the frame 13 without an adhesive.
