Abstract:
    With building a working path, a main protective path and a second protective path, all of which are shared same route with the paths of other services, for the current service, the invention allocates the shared wavelength or idle wavelength for the working path, main protective path and second protective path. When the working path failures, firstly, detects the main protective path to decide if there is a failure; if not, the service is switched to the main protective path; if yes, the service is switched to the second protective path. By the invention, when one or two links failure, the service can be recovered in 100%.
