     A process for preparing the edible silk protein powder and silk extract from the rejected silk of silkworm includes such steps as removing impurities, degumming, controlled acidolyzing, neutralizing, separating solid from liquid, purifying, vacuum drying, pulverizing to obtain edible silk protein powder, desalting the liquid silk peptide, and spray drying to obtain silk extract.
